What is a sprint car?
Think back to those sports shows where they show the most dramatic racing action, drama, and wrecks – the cars viewers usually see are sprint cars running on dirt tracks. Established almost 30 years ago these small – usually winged cars are more powerful than NASCAR machines and use more than 850 horsepower on a 1200 pound frame to run at more than 140 miles per hour on a dirt track sometimes no bigger than a high school football field. This sport is fast, extreme, and exciting.

What is the World of Outlaws?
The “World of Outlaws” name was coined years ago when top sprint car drivers traveled across the country to compete against local drivers for big prize money. Since the touring drivers usually took the prize money form the local heroes, they became the “Outlaws”.*
